FLY RIGHT CLASSES NO MORE!
It is with great regret that, since the demise of our Longniddry Studio (for those of you who don’t know, its roof caved in under the weight of excessive snowfall last December and the building had to be closed) and subsequent difficulties in managing multiple venues, the company’s board has come to the sad conclusion that we really do not have the resources in this small company to continue offering classes ourselves in East Lothian. It was a lot easier to do this when we had a base at the studio. However, having to manage multiple venues has proved quite a burden - not just in terms of administration, but also in terms of financial pressure. As you all know, the company is a social enterprise and our programme of community dance classes was really a cost-covering exercise. Without the studio, we were barely covering costs, so this combined with the onerous administrative issues have led the board to decide to stop offering classes in East Lothian.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone and anyone who has attended our classes over the past six years, both in Longniddry and latterly in Haddington. We really appreciate your support and we will continue to promote any community classes that we think may interest you through this website and our email newsletter. To this end, we are pleased to report that the instructors who delivered our classes are all offering replacement classes - please contact us if you would like details.
