Some of you may remember - or may have attended! - the December 2008 world record attempt (successful!) for the world’s largest Tea Dance, held in George Square in Glasgow. 209 couples danced their way into the record books on that freezing December afternoon - but the record has been snatched back by London, who reached 254 couples in July 2010.
Not to be outdone, Glasgow organised a fresh attempt on Sunday 12 September 2010 - and was successful, with 306 couples dancing under lovely blue skies on George Square!! Once again, Susan and Gary from Fly Right were the dance hosts on the day, and were on hand to deliver some tuition in the form of their Fifteen-Minute Foxtrot© lesson.
