12.30pm to 1.30pm - perfect for your lunch-hour!

Do you enjoy dancing? Looking for something a bit different that’s fun and energetic, and great for both guys and gals? Then why not try our fun swing jazz dance classes on Wednesday lunchtimes.

These jazz dance classes are  NOT lycra and legwarmers, but rather more soft shoe shuffle – learning traditional afro-american jazz dance steps to the strains of some classic swing tunes. Things by Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, and the three cats called Louis – Armstrong, Jordan and Prima! You’ve seen it on Strictly Dance Fever – now come and give it a go!

Wear something comfortable, especially on your feet! And no partner needed for these classes.

Fly Right is presenting this series of lunchtime Swing Jazz classes at the Town House in conjunction with East Lothian Council. These classes were initially set up for East Lothian Council staff under the Scotland’s Health at Work (SHAW) scheme, but now we are opening them up to anyone who wants to some fun stuff in their lunchtime. These classes are perfect for people who want to fit more activity into their working day!
